Litchfield Plantation

“Litchfield, so called as early as 1794, is believed to have gotten its name from Litchfield, England. This English town probably was the old home of an early owner. Ramsey (died Apr. 22, 1833); and Martha Lavinia Ramsey (Aug. 28, 1798-Oct. 26, 1857) ; died June 5, 1859.
